What is gender identity?+
It is the sense you have of your own gender from the inside — man, woman, both, neither, or something with no tidy name. It is not the same as the body you were born with, and not the same as who you fall for.
Is gender identity the same as sexual orientation?+
No. Gender identity is about who you are; sexual orientation is about who you are drawn to. A trans woman can be straight, lesbian, bisexual or asexual — the two are independent of each other.
Can an online test tell me my gender?+
No test can. What ours does is listen to your answers and point you to people who describe something similar, so you have words to try on. It suggests. You decide.
What if none of the labels feel right?+
That is a common and completely valid outcome. Labels are tools, not verdicts. Many people sit with 'questioning' for months or years, and some never adopt a label at all.
