Transandrogynous
A transgender person who identifies as androgynous, expressing a blend of masculine and feminine traits.
Transfeminine
Assigned male at birth but identifying toward the feminine end of the spectrum, whether as a woman or feminine non-binary.
Transfluid
A transgender identity whose gender is fluid; the fluid part is the main event, not a footnote.
Transgender Female
A person assigned male at birth who identifies and lives as female. Also known as trans woman or MTF.
Transgender Male
A person assigned female at birth who identifies and lives as male. Also known as trans man or FTM.
Transmasculine
Assigned female at birth but identifying toward the masculine end of the spectrum, whether as a man or masculine non-binary.
Transneutral
A trans person whose gender or transition is neutral rather than masculine or feminine; the umbrella beside transmasculine and transfeminine.
