Huegender is a xenogender. The nearest honest word for the gender is a colour, not man, woman or a point between them — and the colour does not stay put. The LGBTQIA+ Wiki describes it as a mix of all colourgenders and fluidflux: the colour of your gender can shift to any hue and any shade, dark purple one week, cyan the next, scarlet after that.

It was built as a variant within the colourgender cluster of xenogenders, combining the idea of a colour-based gender with 'fluidflux' so that not just the presence but the specific hue and shade of the colour can change over time.
