Nine stripes, a gradient running green through purple to orange, made by the Tumblr blog pride-color-schemes on 10 July 2016. Green and orange were chosen for the simple reason that they aren't pink and blue. A simplified version with fewer stripes and softer colours also circulates, for people who find the gradient hard on the eyes.
